Cookie Policy

This page describes what cookies and similar storage technologies the RouteLab service uses.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a site stores in your browser. They let the site remember that you're logged in, your settings, and so on. Similar technologies — localStorage, sessionStorage, IndexedDB — are browser storages that work on the same principle.
Which cookies RouteLab uses
The Service uses strictly necessary cookies and storage, without which basic functionality is impossible (consent is not required — Recital 30 ePrivacy Directive, GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)), as well as analytics cookies from Google Analytics and Yandex Metrica (see the table below).
| Purpose | Where stored | Set by | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Maintaining your session (you're logged in) | localStorage / cookies | Supabase Auth | Until logout or session expiry |
| Refresh token to extend the session | localStorage | Supabase Auth | Until logout |
| Web analytics (site usage statistics) | cookies (_ga, _ga_*) | Google Analytics | up to 13 months |
| Web analytics and session replay (Webvisor) | cookies (_ym_uid, _ym_d, _ym_isad) | Yandex Metrica | up to 12 months |
What we don't have
Right now we do not use:
- Advertising cookies and trackers (Facebook Pixel, retargeting, etc.)
- Cookies for profiling or ad targeting
For usage statistics we use Google Analytics (cookies _ga/_ga_*) and Yandex Metrica (cookies _ym_*, including "Webvisor" session replay with input masking). They don't receive your email or name. We show a cookie notice on your first visit; you can opt out of analytics cookies via your browser settings or a blocking extension. Learn more in our Privacy Policy.
How to manage cookies
All modern browsers let you delete and block cookies via settings. However, deleting our strictly necessary cookies will automatically log you out and you won't be able to use the Service while signed in. Viewing public routes without logging in will still work.
Changes
If we add new types of cookies, we will update this page and explicitly notify users. For details on personal data processing, see our Privacy Policy.
